At each First Shipping office, sufficient parking space is available for all our customers. The period of free parking is negotiable at each office. Please ask our local offices for more information.  

All goods loaded into your vehicle are your own responsibility and First Shipping can never be held responsible for damage and/or loss of these goods (Even when written on receipt and/or shipping documents). To avoid damage and/or loss of your goods, you can order our office to weld the doors of your vehicle. Please do not overload your vehicles. This will cause problems in the transport.

 FIRST Shipping always tries to be at the ship at the time of loading to make sure that all vehicles are handled with care and get a good place at the ship. 

 When a ship leaves the port of departure, the captain will contact the agents at destination for reporting about the voyage. Therefore, please contact the agent at destination to get the latest updates. We advise you to be at the port the moment the ship arrives. Clear your goods as soon as possible and get your goods out of the port as soon as you can. This is to avoid parking charges, damage and/or theft. Ask our agents for free advice.

You are NOT allowed to drive your vehicle without insurance and registration in Europe. Not even for 5 minutes. If the police see this, they will confiscate your vehicle. Therefore, ask our seller to bring your vehicle to the nearest First Shipping office or ask us for advice. 

 It is possible to park your heavy vehicles at each First Shipping office. We also can pick up your heavy vehicles directly where you buy them. Ask for advice at your First Shipping office. 

Our special trucks will collect regular all vehicles at each First Shipping office and bring them directly and safely to the guarded port parking. Please do not overload your vehicle. In case of overload, we CAN NOT transport them to the port of departure.

As soon as your vehicle gets to the port, it will be registered at the port computer system before being put on the guarded parking. The free of charge parking time at the port is limited. Please ask details at our offices. When vehicles are parked for longer than 4 months at the port, the port authorities have the right to sell your vehicle. This is out of the control of any shipping agent.

The departure dates given are indications only. Everyone will try to respect the departure date. However, some factors like rough weather, loading and unloading times and maintenance can change the forecast departure date.

In order to get your goods at destination, you need the original B/L (Bill of Loading). Only with this document, supplied by FIRST Shipping, will you be able to get your goods out of the port. We can send these shipping documents wherever you like. Please ask our agents for advice.
